South Ogden · Est. 2019
Korean comfort food made with intention — from hand-pulled noodles to slow-braised bulgogi, every dish is an invitation to slow down and savor.
Our Story
Kogane Korean Kitchen began with a simple conviction: that the best meals are the ones shared slowly, with people you care about. Our name — 金, meaning "gold" — reflects the value we place on craft, patience, and the quiet luxury of a well-made dish.
Every recipe in our kitchen is rooted in Korean tradition yet shaped by the ingredients and rhythms of the place we call home. We source locally whenever we can, ferment our own pastes, and prepare our broths from scratch each morning. The result is food that feels both familiar and quietly surprising.
We opened our doors in South Ogden because we wanted a neighborhood table — one where regulars are known by name and every guest eats like they're welcome to stay awhile.
What We Stand For
Every broth, paste, and garnish is prepared in-house each morning. No shortcuts, no shortcuts you can't taste.
We work with Utah farms and purveyors to bring the freshest seasonal ingredients to your table — from leafy greens to house-made kimchi.
Our menu is designed for the table — communal plates, shared smalls, and generous mains that turn a meal into a moment.
From the Kitchen
The kind of place where you forget your phone is on the table. That's the Kogane standard.
